So Just yesterday this exact question came up while chatting to a friend, "Does age really matter?"

A healthy relationship blossoms with communication. A partner that is understanding, loving, caring and who appreciates the little things we do. Above all compatibility is the number one priority when seeking relationship.
Sometimes that special someone we are compatible with may happen to be the love of our life's and decade apart.


If a person had all the qualities you were after, would the age gap really matter and what are the stereotypical problems expected to be faced by such couple especially in the somali community?

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep
going.
She goes to the 4th floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4: These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are
Drop-dead Good Looking and help with
Housework.
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly
stand it!"
Still, she goes to the 5th floor and sign reads:
Floor 5: These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are
Drop-dead Gorgeous, help with Housework and
Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the
6th floor and the sign reads:
Floor 6 : You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor.
There are no men on this floor.
This floor exists solely as proof that women are
impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner
opens a New Wives store just across the street.
The 1st first floor has wives that love sex.
The 2nd floor has wives that love sex and have
money.
The 3rd,4th, 5th and 6th floors have never been
visited.

More than 5 years age difference is a no go for me.

Stuckon21, I know of one lady who is married to a younger farax and she gets the "he is after your money" as she is well off lacag wise. They might be right tho.. But Younger guys tend to be more immature, and its alomost unheard-of in our community. But would you marry a guy who is in his late 30s /early 40s?

Do not assume it makes a fool out of you and me. I do not plan on going lower than the age of consent. It is all about about preferring a Xalimo with naaso tag tagan.

Amira, it depends. I mean, there are other factors that more important to me than age (as long as they are not minors or very old women).
