Somalis from NFD (Kenya) are the most educated and well-mannered Somalis I have ever come across. I think you have mixed them up with Somali refugees from Somalia and Zone 5. Somalis from Somalia and Somali Galbeed have been living in Kenya (particularly Nairobi & Mombasa) since the early 90's. Due to their lack of stable life and horrific life experiences, they have a habit of having irregular personality and manners.

The real Somali Kenyans whom are made of merchants, students, city dwellers or nomads are one the best Somalis in East Africa, followed by Somalis from Djibouti, then those from Zone 5. The worst Somalis are those from Somalia (that includes Somaliland).

The way English is spoken outside the upper echelon of British society, USA, Australia and Canada is funny. That is the good thing about the English language. It can be spoken using several accents.
