Islamic Investment Banking

Postby JamalAddow » Mon Feb 23, 2015 4:52 pm

Guys is there viable Islamic IB methods out there? I heard about Hargreaves and Lansdown from a friend of mine, and he said they are the best.

Here's two setup they have:
http://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-searc ... are-charts
http://www.hl.co.uk/funds/fund-discount ... -inclusive

I know you can also invest in their Exchange traded funds though the Islamic index.

Is there any other way to invest in stocks the halal way? I don't want to fall into Haram ignorantly, is there an easy way to make alot of money from stocks without falling into Haram?

Thanks in advance.

Oxymoron!

Only the birds blv this nonsense. Banking is a global notion. Money does not have a religion. As marketing ploy, labels such as islamic banking, xalaal money, interest free loans etc are used.

Money may not have a religion but it's definitely the religion of greed which rules the world today.

Ps, interest free loans is no fodder for birds, there's immense benefit in it, the bank of Canada used to lend interest free loans to federal/provincial/municipal governments for infrastructure and social spending, this was put to end in 1974 at the influence and pressure of private banks, now these governments running on increasingly stringent budgets have to pay billions annually to private lenders, creating strenuous burden on the economic health of the country. There's a lawsuit filled in federal court to reinstate the mandate in bank of canada act that provides interest free loans to governments on all levels. I hope this lawsuit is successful, this past jan, an appeal filled by the crown to throw out the case was rejected by presiding judges...
