lmao, i moved from the Window Desktop i was using earlier and im now using Apple Macbook and it has changed colour to white and gold. Must have something to do with the screen.

This dress is on every social network..i see white and gold btw. I heard it has something to do with ur mood, if ur in a bad mood u see blue and white if ur in a happy..calm mood u see white gold

Lol cool illusion, if that's what you want to call it. This is just a absolutely perfect example of color constancy. I'm not gonna go into detail to explain it, if you really wanted to find out how it works you couldve just googled the scientific explanation instead of saying shit like omg why are other ppl seeing gold and white.

Here's another cool example of color constancy I seen in a vid earlier.

Both boxes that are highlighted are the same color but because of color constancy we perceive the bottom one as a diff color because of the shadow. Our brains recognize that shadows make things darker so to compensate it makes the box appear as a lighter color. Same concept with the dress. You will see it as a diff color thsn someone else because of your own individual color sensitivity and the environment of the room your sitting in.
