Well the ones I met in Ottawa in 2010 weren't the peaceful type. I had my rental car broken into 2x and had stuff stolen from it.
Maybe some of the folks from Ottawa know this place, what's the name of that highrise apartment that has like 80% Ajanabi tenants? Yep that's where I was staying at. My family said there were bunch of Djiboutians living in the neighborhood and to lock my car. That certainly didn't stop them from breaking into my car.
The 2 weeks I was staying there, the juvenile delinquents who were hanging out infront of the entrance asked me if I was Djiboutian. And we are talking about 12 -16yr old kids smoking and drinking outside and causing a problem.
It was probably those lil shit heads who broke into my car and ransacked it stealing my wallet with all my credit card in it. My bank notified me that someone transferred $1,000 from my account to some bank I never heard of in Djibouti city.
Don't leave anything in plain sight around Djiboutians, always hide it.
I remember a while ago, some Djiboutian guy who was the same age as me and had the same first and last name as me was in the paper for sexual assault. If it wasn't for his butchered French way of spelling his last name, my reputation would have been destroyed cause of this fucker.
