How long do you see yourself living in the West?

I tried living in Garoowe for a year working for an NGO, but got bored of that lifestyle and decided to move back to the west when the project finished.

That's what I do when I miss the west. Take good two or three months vocation and party like a rock star. lol

I had a plan and I was going to move as soon as .... then I found a potentially more lucrative path that would keep me here longer (maybe even settling here) lakin with Muslims set to be the next Jews of Europe and history is looking like it's going to repeat itself, I'm not sure I want to risk being in a concentration camp for any amount of money.

Do you think it's all going to die down or is this the beginning of the end for Muslims in Europe?

It's not like Nazi-like conditions will come out of nowhere. You will see that coming long before they actually start stuff like concentration camps.

Europe's Future depends on the countries they colonised not long ago......Even today the west is fuelled by Khaleej etc etc oil and African etc etc minerals, let alone in the future when they will be dramatically outnumbered. No "Nazi Style" conditions will occur at all, However what will occur maybe Far right governments and fascism to extent. That being said regarding the question Somalia still is not on par with the west in living standards at all.

1) Shabaab is eradicated
2) Gov't isn't comprised of taxi drivers, pseudo-religious cliques, ex-warlords, Ethiopian lackeys, 360 semi-literate odeyaal brought to you by the famous 4.5 system. Doesn't have to be Sweden (yet) but holy shit can we at least get to f-king Ugandan levels of governance?
3) Qabyaalad isn't too out of control i.e. no constant threat of clan warfare
4) Decent prospects for sustained economic development/increase in standard of living throughout the country
5) Policies that promote ease of business/development of a robust private sector while protecting us from getting dicked by MNCs

So I'll probably be moving back by around 2070 or so.

The land of the somalis reminds me of America during it's early days, alot of opportunities but only the bright minded can take advantage of that.

In America depending on where You live, the Islamphobia isn't really that bad. For the most part, Muslims in America are one of the smallest minorities and there isn't this whole "Muslims are taking over" BS that they have in Europe. That said, whether it is the West or America as Somalis lets ask ourselves this:

What choice do We really have assuming things become unbearable? Say our Somali Muslim Sisters start to be harassed, today Somali Women get raped and harassed in Somalia like there is no tomorrow So You're back to square one literally. Your house and belongings can get stolen in the West one day, but in Somalia it will happen right now. You might say "Oh, well at least its not for who I am" but then You're wrong again, because it IS because of who You are and what Qabil You are (Or are not). As of now there is nowhere better than the West as far as Somalis are concerned.

Somalia is only livable if you work for an NGO or run your own company, which what like less than 5% of the country.

All other types of employment in Somalia are horrible. Terrible hours, low pay, no unemployment benefits etc.

Why would you want to live anywhere else? The west has the economic prosperity, the political and legal institutions for a decent life. As for Somalia, waa dhulka hooyo and if things were to improve even slightly, it would be a more desirable destination than many others. Outside of those two places, the only other place I can think of is China and ignoring cultural, liguistic and ethnic barriers - I'm not fond of eating snakes.

Don't tell me you think of living in arab countries?
