I only meet a single Oromo family in my life, they came from Ethiopia. Very nice and maskiin people. What I find it strange they kinda respect and look up to Somalis

Afkaaga caano lagu qabay, Mr.Sinister! There is no denying, whatever little work that is getting done in these clan enclaves, it is all owed to Oromos and some other other hard working Somalis from the south.

I have witnessed this at first hand, when I last visited Puntland couple of years ago. All major industries, including constructions, hotels, restaurants, laundry services, domestic jobs, bazaars, etc., is dominated by Oromos, Jareers, and reer Bay/Bakool.

You hardly ever see any natives doing any type of work. You will, instead, find them daily, loitering, hours on end, in front of biibitooyinka, engaged in our national pass time, fadhukudirir and faanfaan, while they live off of the couple of hundred dollars monthly remittance they receive from their relations abroad.

In 2013, I have visited a construction site for Puntland State Prison which was then underway in Garowe. Believe it or not, eighty percents of the workers there, were Oromos, and the rest Jareers or reer Baydhabo, with only one or two locals.
