2nd of all, While I agree that Daesh shares some of the traits you mentioned with the Nazis, I think they are decidedly worse than the Nazis in any comparison because the Nazis didn't claim that they were speaking in the name of God, nor did they use the Bible as justification for their atrocities. What you are alluding to, is the 19 century German thought of romanticism and Idealism that has its roots in the "Volkish ideology"
