Sheikh should be the future capital of somaliland. its beautiful place. easy to defend in war times with ethiopia. locates somewhere in the middle of the country. Most importantly its in the midlle of burao berbera and hargeisa major cities.

Galkacyo is a Hawiye/Darood city. Obviously if it becomes the capital, other tribes can start to move in there. I wouldn't want the capital to be Garowe or Kismayo or Beledweyne because they don't fit the criteria. Galkacyo has potential bro.

I find it interesting people who say Galkacyo is half darood & haawiye when you never being there. Haawiye do live there but its certainly not half n half.

How do you know I wasn't there?

Warya my subclan lives there as well as in Burtinle and Bacadweyne. I've been to Galkacyo and I know what its like. Its not perfect but it does have the potential to be a capital city. We just need better infrastructure and an influx of Somalis from all Qabiils to enter the city
