Hey guys I know somali cats are famous around the world and is known for thier eloquent furry tails, but what about dogs? Are there any dogs in somalia? I know culturely we hate dogs and did we eliminate them in our civil war?
There are indeed bunch of stray dogs in Somalia. Don't quite know what breed they are though, Almost all the ones I've come across were sandy coloured and skinny.
TBH I have next to zero knowledge of dog breeds so can't tell you. The road leading to mansoor hotel hargaisa is full of lazy dogs, maybe due daily harassment from goats. Back goats rule the streets
The cat named ''Somali cat'' has nothing to do with Somalia. It is an Egyptian-Abyssinian hybrid cat established by the British. They just named it Somali for sake of exoticness.
Ive seen dogs in SL that were previously from the soviets they look like dark waraabes now.
plus is it me or do somali cats look like somalis.
they r skinny and big eyed,
