2005.

anyway, its just an estimate and is subject to dispute. how possible is it to have an accurate census of Somali people. for every 1 person documented maybe twice as much go without being recorded.

un projections are bogus anyway, so nothing to really fight about.

I'm not interested in your petty online clan cat fights. I'm not a barbarian. I am interested in data. I'm not like you animals. I will debate about something meaningful. I have chosen not to pick up the machete and the AK. How dare you say I was thinking of such a weird thing.

Rubbish material by the provocateur ...nigga I been to Hargeisa and I been to major cities in the states and I assure you that Hargeisa has passed the 1mill mark...but then again a Canadian can never feel the density of a city since the whole of Canada's population is less than CA

I been to Hargeisa a few times. Sounds about right. 500-600K. It certainly didn't seem to be 1 million.

There is no Somali city over 1 million except for maybe Mogadishu. Maybe.

The city I currently live in is only 900,000 and it certainly has more people than Hargeisa and possibly even Mogadishu

I know that this whole thing is bullsh!t because there is no way Beletweyne has less people than Burco or Baydhabo. Or that Marka has more people than Galkacyo.

1-Mogadishu 1 million+
2- Hargaysa 650,000-700,000
3-Bosaso 250,000
4- Baydhabo, Galkacyo, Beletweyne, Burco, Borama, Kismayo ~150,000
5-Garowe, Afgoye, Qardho, Berbera, Cabudwaaq, Lascanood ~85,000

That is the metro area that includes other municipalities with their own mayors and city councils.

Calgary proper has 1 million but not Edmonton.

It is 877,000 as of 2014 which will hit 900,000 this year due to newcomer growth. It will be 1 million in 5 years.

Population growth is expected to continue, with 20,000 newcomers due in the city over 2015, down from the 30,000 seen this year.

Edmonton is on par to hit one million people and surpass Ottawa as the fourth largest municipality in Canada by the end of the decade
Edmonton is a third world city though filled with crack heads and drunk Ali Beystein. No infrastructure spending. The whole city looks like Harlem. I thought the British wiped out the Ali Beystein with their diseases they brought until I came out West. I see more of them in one day here than I did my entire life in Ottawa. Demographics at very different

yup

The Darood hate these estimations cos it shows their real numbers.

Bosasso+Kismayo+Glakacyo+Lascanood the 4 maajor Darood cities in Somalia & Somaliland (whether shared or divided)

are less than Hargeisa combined !

:russ: :russ: :russ:

Look at those poor kids who go to wiki and actually believe Bosasso is 700,000 or Galkacyo is 500,000
check the sources of these numbers and you'd laugh you're ss out. They use an old 70s statistics for Isaaq cities
Like Berbera or Burco, but use airport estimation for Galkacyo loooool

As I said before, that place is running by MJ's
