Somali clans and their so called figures never make sense to me!

They have bigger figures than many advanced cities of the world

Medina of saudi arabia has 1 million population!

Manchester has 2.5 million population

Djibouti city has bigger population density than any northern somali city and it has around 500,000 populations

Darood is double the size of Isaaq and 40% larger than Hawiye. Darood is mainly an Ethiopia based clan. Somalia is a secondary degan for Darood.

^
I visited Djibouti about 10 years ago and travelled from one end of the city to another, from a place called Belbela all the way to Guudka, the port and the seaside, Djibouti seemed to me not only smaller than Hargiesa but noticeably smaller.
I would think that Djibouti is about 30% to 35% smaller and less populated than than Hargeisa.

I hate how Bosaso just keeps growing... it has the WORST location in Puntland, yet people flock to it...

Garowe should hopefully replace it in size the coming 50 years.

Garowe already went from like 10,000 to possible 100,000 by now. Most of that came from population leaving Bosaso. If this trend continues it will eventually be bigger than Bosaso.

Boosaaso would really have been a good city if it wasn't for few things:

-The Mayor of the city has a face only hooyo could love.

-The whole city smells like a Kaluun (fish).

- It's just hot.

The city does not smell like kaluun, what a load crap. Have you even ever been there? It has a clean ocean breeze smell.

And yes it is too hot, but only for 4 months of the year. The rest of the year it is tolerable. Just like Minnesota has shit weather for 4 months of the year but the rest it is ok.

Shit!

Damn the Chaghdheers :damn:

No wonder Siad Barre tried to free them.

Wait, so the Ogaden make 80% of the whole population in the Somali region of Ethiopia.

That's not possible, but I won't bitch bout it.

Well, here is the update:

Isaaq = 432
Darood= 821
Hawiya=500
Dir=160
D&M=398
Minorities=110

Even though its a decade old these numbers only confirm what i always believed and that is Somalia is a massive country but with a tiny population, it's totally underpopulated relative to its size and sadly there inst much nation building quality to see within this country's population. There's more quality in Ethiopia with its 100 Million people today.

Ogaden alone don't make up 80% of the Somali region's population. That 80% includes the Jidwaaqs, Geri, MX, Harti, and Leelkase.
