no. the cushitic language emerged only 5,000 years ago. a later time period than the emergence of the ancient egyptian language.

rather than the ancient egyptians being somalis or cushtic people. they were more like our brothers. the ancestors of the somali as well as the ancient egyptians originated in southern ethiopia/kenya near the Lake Tana/Omo regions (the original homeland of the Afro-Asiatic languages). about 12-15,000 years ago, there was a great change in global climate that transformed the sahara desert from the dry land we know it is today into a green oasis with large lakes and lots of annual rain. this led to the mass migrations of large savannah animals from central and eastern africa into present day north africa. ancient africans from the east (Cushitic types) and center (Nilo-Saharan types) who hunted these large animals followed the migrating herds of animals to northern africa where the sahara desert is today. there are cave paintings dating back to this time period showing black africans hunting giraffes and other savannah animals in present day Libya.

These ancient africans lived in North Africa for thousands of years until the climate changed again and the sahara began to shift back into a desert. Some of these ancient africans went to the nile valley where it was still green and wet because of the rich nile and founded the ancient egyptian civilization. others went a bit south along the nile into sudan and founded ancient nubia. while others went even more south into ethiopia and northern kenya where it was still green. these africans that remigrated into the Horn would be our ancestors along with the ancestors of the other cushitic speaking tribes in east africa.

so its not that we were the ancient egyptians. it was more like we had the same parents. they decided to live in the Nile Valley and founded the ancient civilization in Egpyt, while we went southwards back to the Horn.

Naah, Egyptian had more "west" african blood than us, they were a very mixed society though.

that is only because of recent admixture. the present day Egyptians have very little in common with Ancient Egypt. they are a combination of ancient egyptian, greek, turkish, roman, and west african.

it would be like saying present day Brazilians are representative of the people who lived in Brazil 1,000 years ago. that would be ludicrous because we know that present day Brazil had millons of slaves imported from Africa and millons of Europeans from Portugal. So yes, while there is still some native blood in most Brazilians, it has been diluted by centuries of invasion and mixing.

same thing happened in Egypt but over a much longer period of time.
