Coolman, you have been drinking too much cool aid from wahabism. You have uncritically embraced wahabism – which is a primitive tradition disguised as religion- and blv that any other form of worshipping is xaaram. After all, all the books you read and all the religious leaders you listen to are wahabi students. Accordingly, any other kind of Islamic teaching and practise is xaaram (shirk). It is either my way or I will call you Satan and kill you. This is what underlies the sick ideologies of the savages and barbarians who are committing heinous crimes in Somalia, the Middle East, Afghanistan and in the west.

Sufism (comes in many forms) is a tolerant form of islam. Sufism is perhaps the reason why there are muslims in Africa and to a certain extent in Asia. The Siyaaro is an innocuous gathering in the name of brotherhood. There are surely some people who exaggerate (paganism) but the general aim is to meet and worship.

What do you mean by my “Jaahiliya” days? You mean the days when Islam was a religion of peace, worship, tolerance and cohesion? I could argue that Islam’s Jaahilya days are today when Wahabist ideology has peaked. Suicide bombing, beheading, human rights abuses, stoning and much more odious crimes against humanity; this is what islam has been reduced to by the kind of ideology you and others have been brainwashed with saaxib.

Am not a wahabi, a wahabiya, a salafi, salafiya or Saudi petro dollars islamiya.

Am simply a plain muslim who strives to stick to what was revealed to the prophet and his sunnah. Tc

Usually, we Somalis are brilliant in one thing. Attack one another to claim the high moral ground. We all believe in Allah SWT and Mohamed PBUH as qaatimun Al-Anbiyaa, therefore, why will any Muslim attack such people? This is the major reason why the young are confused and abandon Islam altogether. Qaaf rabbukum yaa Muslimiin, ummadda ha idiinka Nabbad gasho.
