Bali-Cad, DhuusaMareeb

Postby guhad122 » Mon Mar 23, 2015 12:13 am

This is wonderful video and reminds me the true nature of our culture. Does anyone remember if there is someone in the well to fill up the Wadaan. I remember something like "Ceelkaa loo xidhayaa". Basically, some dude will go 10 feet deep in this dark well with snakes and all kinds of creatures and fill up the Wadaan. Walee Somali meelkasta oo ay joogtu waa iskudhaqan. Also, is the chant for relieving the pain of pulling out the heavy Wadaan or the camel to drink the water? I heard both versions.
