Dead body found in Calgary identified as Somali man.

The man found dead in Canada Olympic Park Wednesday was summoned from his home by a mysterious phone call, his family said.

Less than three hours before the body of 25-year-old Mohameddek Ali Mohamud was found near the park’s ski jumps early Wednesday morning, the victim was called to a meeting by an unknown person, local Imam and family spokesman Abdi Hersy told the Sun.

“He left home a little bit before midnight,” Hersy said.

“He was with his brother, and his brother was telling him not to leave.”

I have a relative who just like this guy. He dropped out of school. He won't listen to anyone, and became too aggressive for one of his relative to stop him. Luckily, before he run into trouble, he married a Somali lady who was attending nursing courses. After the marriage, he became a reformed man, he no longer runs with these gangsters and he became responsible man. They have 2 children together now in MN. I pray for that lady whenever he calls me to say hi. May Allah bless our women!

I have a relative who just like this guy. He dropped out of school. He won't listen to anyone, and became too aggressive for one of his relative to stop him. Luckily, before he run into trouble, he married a Somali lady who was attending nursing courses. After the marriage, he became a reformed man, he no longer runs with these gangsters and he became responsible man. They have 2 children together now in MN. I pray for that lady whenever he calls me to say hi. May Allah bless our women!

Getting married and having more kids is not always the answer to everything. All u are doing is just bringing in more children u can't possibly support and that would have a high chance of turning into life of crime.

How will the dead guy and his family get justice and the killer receive punishment? they're just going to sweep it under the floor like nothing happened?
btw community leaders need to speak up not individuals. Is there no community organisation that represents somalis over there?

How do you know they can't support their kids? The lady is a nurse now, and he is a reformed man, working, and supporting his family. What is this mentality that younger Somali couples can't support their kids? Having kids helps many men to be responsible.

There are, but they do nothing. There's a video series on a guy named abdinasir on YouTube years ago. He got killed in fort Mac. Pretty much exactly how every murder goes on here. There's 3 parts.
