Ethiopia is off limit the Ethiopian intelligence is to strong there is no way the Alshabaab can carry out an Attack in Ethiopia they did it in Kenya and in Uganda the Ethiopian intelligence is the best in the region.

By the way i dont understand how come we dont know the clan of the Perpetrators yet?

the problem is the stupid Somali govt needs to invest most of its budget on security and intelligence gathering

In the last Hotel blast, the Somaliland government was blamed by 95% of the people of Somalinet who hail from Somalia were blaming the Somaliland president for wanting to assassinate the Deputy prime minister of Somalia.Lol i wonder why they dont point fingers tallow ma qof aan reeerka ay godobta la rabeen ba maanta duqeyey meesha. lol.

Lol@ Somali government investing in security they are investing how they can return in 2016 fund raising in Arab countries i think its an inside job perhaps some SFG officials are in cahoots with the Shabaab militants

SSDF wanted power and to rule not for this 24 year madness nightmare to happen we cant blame SSDF for this mess. SSDF can be blamed for bringing Xabashi troops into Somalia. Siyad bare can be blamed for Tribal politics and favoring some clans against the others and the USC can be blamed for destroying Mogadishu and burn it to the ground. But its pointless to blame each other in 2015 wixi dhaceen wey dhaceen , what to do from here? Any suggestions it seems the clowns in Mogadishu have no clue how to secure Mogadishu.

Al-Shabaab is run by the Ethiopian intelligence. Both North and South Mogadishu have checkpoints, manned by Ethiopian and Ugandan troops. Whenever Ethiopians started moving from those checkpoints, they escort Al-Shabaab terrorists and bring them to critical government installations. Ugandan military officials have been reported to be in collusion as well. The end goal is, Ethiopians don't want this government to function, and the Ugandans are milking the peacekeeping operation. The Somali intelligence agency is also heavily infiltrated by both Ethiopians and their Al-Shabaab minions. Tragic situation for the Somalis and Somali Government. No end in sight. UNDP in Nairobi is very happy as well.

lool khaalid, Ethiopian intelligence is least advanced in the world. even Somalia is million times ahead of them. kenya who is very well advanced country could not resist alshabaab what makes you think a punch of woyane can resist alshabaab bombings. alshabaab is very powerful force they are able to hit any where on earth. but they need financial base thats why they are pushing very hard to recapture both mogadishu and kismayo. the reason they attack kenya more often is to make them pull out of kismayo. they first want to damage kenyan tourism sector to make them retreat from somalia. Ethiopia will suffer the moment they settle in mogadishu or kismayo.

Alshabaab has links to Eritrea , the Eritreans would have used Alshabaab against Ethiopia. But i doubt shabaab is strong, The Xabashis have a very capable security and intelligence force they have ears and eyes every where all corners. All Intelligence officers are all from one ethnic tigre. The TPLF there is allot of secrecy . Xabashis are not like the Bantus , there is a reason why Ethiopia was never attacked by Shabaab its not that shabaab hates Ethiopia but wadna diiday ama karti ba diday.

By the way the Yusuuf for us in Somaliland its not good that Kenya is weakened , Kenyas strength is good for Somaliland. Kenya is building a wall between them and Somalia. We must Assist Kenya and help them combat terrorism. Regionally and geopolitical the weakening of Kenya is only good for Somalia , not good for Somaliland.

Ethiopia has been in Mogadishu before Ethiopia right now has troops in Baydhabo bay and bakool gedo and in hiiraan and parts of Galguduuud and they want to be in Kismayo to have a Joint alliance force in Kismayo. Its like Old times when Jommo kenyatta former Kenyan president,and Ethiopian Emperor Haile selassie had a defense treaty if Ethiopia is at war with Somalia than Kenya is automatically at war with Somalia and , And if Kenya is at war with Somalia than Ethiopia is automatically at with Somalia. The only people Alshabaab is scared of is Ethiopians , the belligerent Ethiopians have liberated bay and bakool and gedo and Hiiraan from shabaab.

If they were so powerful why won't they attack anywhere outside of East Africa?

The only reason they are relevant is because the Somali government is useless and features ministers and MPs who throw money around all the time for elections, no confidence votes, and other useless chatter.

They don't invest in having an army or a viable security service.

EVERY MONTH...ON THE LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH, AL SHABAAB IS ATTACKING A HOTEL OR AREA WHERE GOVERNMENT PEOPLE STAY.

How incompetent can you be to not notice the patterns but not prepare??

Don't give me that dude, clearly someone is in cahoot with Al Shabab, how else do you explain the never ending attack parades of Alshabab.

You can't prevent Alshabab from attacking, but you sure as hell should be able to halt them from attacking important halbowlee\key points of the city, such as maka al makurama and the Presidential compound.

Alshabab are present in parts of Puntland, you never hear of them attacking Villa Garowe or the port of Bossaso. Just goes to show you how much a little loyalty can do in terms of security.
Alshabaab have been successfully in Puntaland killing high raking officers , Taking over the main prison and freeing criminals . Attacking bossaso night and daytime on monthly Bases .

Mogadishu is the size of Puntland and has bigger population then of Puntland how are you comparing Bossaso town and State of Mogadishu
