I was born in Canada, however my parents moved me to Kenya by the age of 10, and I was mostly raised there. I managed to finish my O-Levels there, but came back here to do my last year of highschool so I could get into University. Because of how I was raised, once I came back, I didn't identify myself as Canadian, since I still had my heavy Kenyan accent mixed in with my English. But as time went by, I slowly got a hang of it and caught the gist of this stuff. So I first identify myself as Somali then Canadian. I have no Kenya in me, just my fluent Swahili under my belt.
No, I wouldn't fight for this country. I hate Harper and his views on how this country should be run. But I'm glad at all the opportunities and blessings I've received in this country. Free and manageable health care, my jobs that I've held, the people that I interact with and the education I'm receiving.
Also, Murica sucks.
