u woke up one day and discovered ur car was missing, u called the cops and it ends up with ur little brother being shot to death. Turns out he found a spare key few days prior and been taking it for a joy ride in the mornings. When the teenager saw the sirens, he panicked and tried to flee. Shots get fired and he bleeds to death.

Even though u didn't mean to happen, would u partially feel responsible?

It's a true story, it happened to a kid in my neighborhood. I use to see the older brother here and there but I knew something like that eventually messes u up.

Another case, I remember reading about a xaliimo (new driver) who wanted to scare her sister by getting close to her but ended up running her over dying on the spot.


I know they are innocent and never meant harm but still....

@Advo, I wouldn't feel to be partially responsible for that kid's reckless decision. Every thing is predetermined and therefore would move on. The kid committed one hasty decision after another by first committing a theft when he stole his brother's spare key and took his car, and then panicked when he saw police officers.

Imagine him overrunning other motorists or innocent bystanders while he was running away from police officers.

The lessons learned from this tragedy is to talk to troubled teenage kids about the consequences of their reckless decisions and warn them beforehand.
