Actually, both Oromo and Somali descended from a common ancestor - hence the close similarities between the two. A lot of English words are from Latin by way of French when the Normans conquered England but English is not "native to French."

Iirc we did this with the Italian loan words.The french are currently removing foreign loan words and replacing with them french words.
The same amount as the number of Somali words that oromo hasnow tell us how many oromo words u guys have.
All of those words have Somali equivalents and I have tried on top of my head to provide them as best as a sac can. Please note that there are Somali words for almost every loaned word but are not used much by mainstream Somalis of today.:

There are soo many words, that we have a somali equivalent of in our language.
Heck we don't even use our own calendaric terminologies. We have Somali names for months and week days, yet we don't use it.
