A branch of the afar people but they consider themselves stand alone tribe though they understood eachother linguistically

Saho means cow caretaker, a nomad name just like samaale

Planned by the asmara regime, the christian habasha have been expending to the saho land and the coastal afar and banu amiri-beja-

Ethiopian habasha are also after mosawac port

Masaakiin

I read somewhere that Northern Somali (Af-Maxatiri) has an Afar substratum in its language, while Af-Maay lacks this.

Afars may have lived in Northern Somalia in the past, but could have been pushed out by Maxatiri invaders from the riverine area.

individually....not always. there are individual dhulbahante that look hindi. some that look like carab. some that look like jareer. some look habash.

but I can always spot a group of Somalis from any other group of people. even those we closely resemble.
