I think to say it's back to the 60s and 80s is a bit sensationalist. Whilst things wont get easier for the Somali people in that region I'd say we wait how things unfold.

Will mobile money transfers be banned? I'm sure Somalis will find a solution to this problem, we always have. Stupid Kenyans. All this will do is block Kenyans from sending money via Xawaalado, they are legal everywhere else. In the UK I need a passport or driving license to use a xawaalad, even the smaller ones and they ask for proof of address too.
