Why do Somalis dislike Shias for? Can someone explain this phenomenon to me?
Most Arab countries hate and fear Shiites. Therefore, arab-wannabes think they can get into the good books of dhegcas by hating them too. It's like Malcolm X Raxiimahullah said, the house-nicca always loves who the massa loves and hates whoever the massa hates.
The irony is Shiites don't even know Somalis exist.

Most Shia's are Arabs. Only 70 million Shia's or so are Iranian. The rest are Arabs or Indians. In fact there is a significant Shia population in Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan and India.
I suggest you read a book. The Shia's are a corrupt people with a corrupt Aqeedah. Screw them

I have never met a Shiite in my life. Why should I hate people who aren't even relevant to me? I could understand if there were Shiites doing bad things in Somalia. But the truth is the average Somali has more on his plate to worry about than silly doctrinal differences.

The Shia's are not a threat to Somalis right now, I understand that. But that doesn't mean we should love and support the Shia's and their corrupt religion.
If Somalia wants to deal on friendly terms with Iran, then so be it. I would hope that Somalia is on friendly terms with every nation in the region but we Somalis should NEVER fight someone else's battles. But in no way should we support their corrupt ideology.
Somalis should be pragmatic and practical. This Arab-Iranian war is none of our business and we Somalis should stay out of it. But at the same time we have to be wary of these Shia's

I agree. This conflict has nothing to do with us. Lakiin a smart Somali would extend a hand for economic ties with Iran. That doesn't mean we will become shiite. I don't see shiites growing presence in the horn. Our immediate concern are Kenya and Ethiopia.

I like both Turks and Arabs. As much as I like Persian firm stance against the apartheid state, I differ from them as far as diinta is concerned

I support Iran, I have a lot of Persian friends they are feisty wa dad dhiig leh..plus iran gave the middle finger to America
. Arabs are cowards and suck up to America... Specially Saudi Arabia.
