The vast majority of Somalis dont give fruits and vegetables the priorities they should in their diets

Not in my experience. Fruits and vegetables are standard. Even in somalia i always had Papaya and Mango as a dessert.

Not in my experience. Fruits and vegetables are standard. Even in somalia i always had Papaya and Mango as a dessert.

I think most people who live/grew up in the south eat fruits since it's so abundant. Waa the arid nation that lived on milk and meat markas aa faan laga dhigey the fact that they are so gaajo

:childplease: Everyday in Hargeisa we used to eat Water Melons, Papayas, custard-apples, citrons, pomegranates and cherry tomatoes.
