I don't know how the elders in your region dress, but Boqor Burhan Boqor Muuse Boqor Yusuf Boqor Osman is dressing like his elders. Reer Boqor have been around longer than the Al Saud so why would he need to copy them?

Boqor Burhan's grandfather, Boqor Osman:

Sultan Kenadid of Obbia :

The Beeldaaje of the Suwaqroon (Mj subclan):

If your traditional elders wore 2 sheets of cloth + ostrich feathers and weren't known outside of their 2 km huts, that's on them. Our Boqor is known the world over. He has the highest traditional title in the land and is the most famous elder in Somalia. When he was crowned last year, Somalis attended from every corner of the country. Fight it or love it, he is your Boqor too. :pac:

P.S. - He is in MN. It has the largest PL diaspora outside of Africa. He is among his people and a few ignobles who were taught to him and his people from a young age won't change anything.

He's wearing typical gulf Arab clothes.

If you can't tell the difference between how his predecessors dressed and him, then you obviously lack serious braincells. His predecessors dressed unqiue with a turban like most Somali chieftains and sultans in those times. They dressed with elegance. This man just emulates what he sees from the gulf Arabs.

A perfect example

Have fun looking up to a man that dresses like normal Gulf Arabs.
A King of a whole Somali clan dresses as a normal Gulf Arab citizen.

Boqor Burhan is dressed similarly to his grandfather and Boqor Osman is dressed nothing like the picture you put up. How are you going to compare royalty to someone whose left leg and macawiis are showing ? The guy on the right looks uncomfortable, like it was the first time he's put on clothes in his life. :russ: Boqor Osman, Sultan Kenadid and the Suwaaqroon Beeldaaje all look regal. Don't even compare them with those two nobodies who look like they don't even know how to sit down in a chair. :pac:

Edit:

It's an insult to have Sultan Mohamud Ali Shire up there with those two nobodies. You're forever trying to compare your elders with Darood elders.

Buranbuur what really surprises me the most is qof hadal aqoonin oow hadal rabaa inu hadalka kubarto by mentioning Puntland, that's what made me laugh the most. Some folks can't carry a 4 minute conversation.

To all the cuqdad ridden folks ass clapping to this topic, buranbuur just gave you the answer. I wonder why all the birds stopped chirping.

Nobody stopped, the sane ones know it's useless to continue this discussion with people that possess the IQ of a goat. He dresses like a normal Gulf Arab citizen your boqor reduced to nothing, but the level of a peasant. He should be emulate the clothing of his predecessors, of course you being from the same clan will just try to speak in his defense. It is astonishing how your arrogance and stubborness is clouding your judgement.
