Many women do not orgasm from penetration and the clitoris is there for one purpose only, pleasure. Even 'Sunnah' can affect clitoral sensitivity according to scientists.

Hargeisa always makes me proud. The youth are so united against common social issues. I know some of these youngsters. Shout out to Tawasuul, Life Savers

Between FGM and Skin bleaching, I would say skin bleaching is the bigger concern. Not only is it detrimental to one's health, it's ugly and and reveals mental enslavement to western beauty standards that were completely foreign to Somali before the Civil War.
Why is every poster in Somalia written in English? Who's the audience they're trying to target here? Certainly FGM is not a problem in the "West", so why can't they write in Somali, so the locals can read. From Awdal all the way to Jubada Hoose, Somalis are using foreign language, abandoning their mother tongue.

There are Somali signs around town, but not enough!
Of course! FGM is a clever money-making scheme. Somalis don't care about killing one another, what makes you think they care about chopped clitoris and sewed vaginas. The white naive donors should happily accept the L for being played.
Don't misunderstand and demean the projects @ 26June.
There is a real problem that men hardly hear about - the ordeal of labour and childbirth. FGM needs to be tackled as the real issue that it is, so don't knock them for getting the support they need.
I just don't agree with the cost of renting out a hall, printing this promo and then speaking to 10 youth (from the pics) and not an entire community like they should be. Awareness campaigns can be far better than this. I salute the effort, but I hope it goes far beyond this.
Having being to Hargeisa, I know the youth are far better reading and understanding English than Somali. There is no standardized Somali and less people actually understand unless its oral.
They read and write better in English but their oral message is always delivered in Somali. The youth read and write better English and these kind of groups are very particular class.
Most leading education institutions teach English and most private schools offer English. The big money is in English regardless who is running the show.
Evol,
They hire halls because that's the trend and as you know these particular collective groups want a comfortable place to deliver their message. They have money trust me. The hotels love them.
