And anyways for my back story:

Yes I am Iraqi. All my friends that I ever had were Somalis (though we grew apart when they either dropped out of school & left the city for jobs or pursued the drug life). There's a huge population of Somalis where I'm from. They dominated my neighborhood so we all became like a family growing up together. I originally wanted to kick it on an Iraqi forum but I searched thoroughly for one and couldn't find any. So my second option was a Somali forum. Just something to pass the time.

What they are not telling you about Desal plants is the cost of operating them and that they are very energy intensive.

The Middle East can afford to build them, because they got enuff gas and oil than anything else, try doing that in Somalia.
