Abu Hurairah (Radeallahu'Anhum) narrated....

Postby *Proud_Muslimah* » Sat Nov 05, 2005 3:02 am

Assalamu Alaikum,

By brother Mu'maneen ---> http://www.islamic-faith.net/Hadith1.html

It has been related by Abu Hurairah (Radeallahu'Anhum) that some Companions of the Prophet (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) asked, "Oh Messenger of Allah! Will we see our Lord on the Day of Judgment?" He (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) replied, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun at noon when it is not clouded over?" They said, "No." Then he (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the full moon on the fourteenth night when it is not clouded over?" They said, "No." Then he (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "By Allah Who is the One in Whose Hand my life is, you will have no more difficulty in seeing your Lord than you have in seeing either of them." Muslim, 41/7078.

What a beautiful description from the Holy Prophet (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)! Even at the time of death we must wait until the Day of Judgment to witness the beauty of our Lord, though even on that day The Veil shall stay over His Face and only the people of Paradise will see Him directly once they enter their eternal home.

Our Prophet (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) has told his companions, on that Day, every creature ever created will look up to their Lord with ease. Can you imagine the number of creation standing for judgment? From Adam ('AlyheeSalaam) to the last creature born on the last second before The Day of Judgment begins will all be gathered together. Trillions and trillions and trillions of creation and even more, will be gathered together in communities. Animals will be separated into their communities followed by the gathering of insects into their own communities, as well as humans into their own groups of whom they used to worship. Christians will stand next to 'Isa ('AlyheeSalaam) so that 'Isa ('AlyheeSalaam) will bear witness against them. The Jews will be next to Shaytan as it was he who inspired them to call out that 'Uzayr is the Son of God. Everyone who worshiped a part of creation will stand by that creation so that creation will bear witness against them. Muslims who believed in Allah from the heart will be separated from the rest of creation, both obedient and disobedient Muslims.

Everyone will be waiting in either extreme fear or extreme excitement. The following incidents that occur after this point to the end of Judgment include the incidents that are part of "The Greatest Terror" from Hadith. As from Hadith, such incidents that will occur will result in hair turning grey, the she-camel dropping her load (miscarriage), a person forgetting all his/her beloved ones and the one who will ransom all those whom they loved including their mother, father, brothers, sisters, the whole of Mankind, just to save them from such an incident.

After humans, animals and insects have been sorted out into their communities, the most spectacular incident will occur, The Coming of Our Lord. Our Lord who has veiled Himself from Mankind and Jinn, our Lord who loves the true believer, the Lord who has said, "My love for you is always there" (as to the obedient Muslim) will now descend down from the Heavens. The believers who were oppressed yet who remained patient with Allah through Praise and obedience and the Muslims who stayed firm in this Dunya by obeying Allah will begin to scream out, "lâ hilâha illâ allâh!" (There is no God but Allah!). Despite the screams of the disbelievers and the disobedient Muslims, and despite the fact that a small sum of the whole of Mankind will enter Paradise the voices of the declaration of "lâ hilâha illâ allâh!" will rise in volume over the screams that they will hear.

Mankind will tremble in terror as the sky above them begins to descend. Angels with gigantic bodies and shining light will begin to descend down to the creation watching forth. Such a sight will be so magnificent that Mankind will call out, "Is our Lord among you?"
The magnificent Angels will be alarmed and call out with a thundering voice, "Glory be to Allah alone! He is not with us. He the Almighty is coming!"

Suddenly the sky will tear apart and The Throne of Allah will begin to descend with Allah upon it. Terror like no terror felt my man will rise to the throats of mankind (Surah 40, Ayat 18-19). Magical clumps of fine clouds will veil Allah from being seen by creation.
The Karubiyyun (Noblest of angels closest to Allah) as well as the Throne-Bearers will also descend close to the Throne of Allah. Such Angels are more numerous than all of creation!
Their voices will begin the declaration of Praise to their Lord by saying, "Glory to the Master of the Kingdom and the Domain! Glory to the Lord of the Might and Omnipotence! Glory be to Al-Hayy, Al-Qayyum! The Lord of the Angels and the Spirit, Al-Kabeer! Al-Quddus! Glory be to our Lord Ya 'Aziz! Glory be to the Master of Power and Immensity, Al-'Ali! Glory be to Him! Glory be to Him forever and ever!"
Their voices will echo against the entire universe. The grounds will shake with praise of their Lord. Everyone of creation both good, bad and evil people will instantly fall into prostration (due to His power and majestic honour) except one type of people; those who carried out minor shirk, showing-off. All will stay in prostration until the command is given to rise up for judgment. Such a sight of the Throne of Allah will be too incredible to even imagine.

This is just a glimpse of how it will be on The Day of Judgment. There is a lot more detail of course to what other things will happen, such as the position of the "Footstool" and His Majestic Throne. But that will be explained another time Inshah'Allah…
