More cadaans are adapting to geeljiire diet.

Postby Idman702 » Fri May 08, 2015 8:01 am

I have a male co-worker who eats like geeljiire. He doesn't eat processed foods. That means no pasta, bariis, bread, cheese, yogurt, frozen foods.

He eats meat, meat and more meat and milk. Little to known vegetables or fruits. The guy is in his 30s and looks like a 20 year old.

I have also heard how geeljiires are stronger and smarter than city folks.

Advice to the faraaxs when you go to Somali restaurants don't order bariis iyo pasta. Just order a full plate of hilib ari. Stop looking so pudgy.

Jimcaa wanagsan everyone.

The Paleolithic or the Caveman diet is all the rage nowadays. They don't believe in eating grains. So no porridge, bread, or rice.

Thug: yes organic food is very expensive, that's why I thank Allah we have farmer's market all summer and autumn. I stock up on locally grown organic veggies and fruits. But I splurge in the winter.

Cherine: :dead:, disregard the slutbucket then.

Too much meat is not healthy, even doctors would tell you that.

That's why Childhood obesity is so high in America, because of that.

Couple of yrs back, I watched a documentary where they said all the chicken farms in the US use steroids to fatten their chicken in couple of weeks.

The result of that is, men having Naaso and other health related issues.

I'm trying to eat by the prophetic diet, grains such as barley bread are only loud, with fruits like dates, watermelon, pumpkin soup and barley bread, and meat occasionally.

Its nice I tell you that.

Dude try the high good fat diet. Its good for the brain, grass-fed butter, ghee and coconut oil. Its called the Bulletproof diet, good for the brain. I always how the sahaba were so clever even tho they stayed up all night and only had ghee and dates, but its proven its good for your brain.

Jimca wanaagsan Idman. :)

It's just a fad, you've got others swearing by their vegan and juicing diets, and this is just the latest fad. With the exception of some bad habits, looking youthful is mostly down to genetics, and thankfully we Somalis are doing alright in that department.
