I didn't read the article and can't comment on it. However, what attracted me is how misguided many if us are. Here

comes my tirade The guy chewing khat in London is u, so is the guy on a fishing boat in Alaska in the middle if the winter to make ends meet. All those ppl u see in different statistics and and are u, your mother mother and that nomad uncle of yours.

The loser is you, the successful is you. The only variable here is the environment. You are not better or worse than other Somalis. The difference outcome is all about opportunity, timing, luck, etc.

Those old old women asking for food stamp and the men who gave them the signs and called the media are u. You could be one if them had u had their life experience.

Whether we like it or not we are either refugees or children of refugees. What I see here is a refugee pointing fingers on another. If u don't respect each other no1 else will.

In the uk,more Somali men of working age are unemployed than Jamaican females.i think that is a capital L.
