It is just so startling to see the difference the muslims in the UK and in the US. In the US we know the difficulties that muslim communities face, the Islamaphobia, etc. But never do we not feel not American, nor have I ever been made to feel not American. Yet in the UK the youth are so polarized, and have such strong feelings. What is wrong with you guys?

This kids are loyal to a fantasy.

Kulaha Islamic state this or that, it's just another utopia fantasy. Just like how all the kids going to Syria are trying to come back, because they have seen the reality.

The real truth is with the parents. They have seen what life is like outside of the UK, and that's why they don't have the same insecurity as these kids who lived in the UK their whole life, who have some imaginary idea. Lost kids.

Those languages and cultures merged to form what is now English. Dead languages, unlike ours so its not right to become a cocktail. We'd be forcing ourselves on one tribe. In Tanzania Swahili is the national language but that group are distinct and still have their customs.

Yes, they even still have an accent that has a lot of scandinavian words in it. Obviously there are people afraid of change, but it's your country now as much as any other british, what's the point of paying taxes and doing all of that only to be marginalized?

These kids that fall into this notion that we need to live in an Islamic state where we will feel like we belong are deluded. Go to Syria or Iraq, and you will receive worse discrimination than you ever did. They have more in common with the average british than the average foreigner.

Yes, but that didn't happen at once. They too forced their way in, they didn't come in peacefully. For goodness sake, the French Aristocracy and Kings didn't even bother learning english for hundreds of years after the conquest of Duke William.
