I don't now, it just seemed like a really fucked up thing to do, even if the series has done a lot of fucked up shit in the past. In the book messandra tried to burn Mans Raider's son, but John Snow sends Sam Tully and Gilly with his son to where Arya is at leaving behind Gilly's baby.

I don't watch that shit, I stopped reading songs of ice and fire right after storm of swords back in 2000. Hell I wouldn't even watch if they made series out of wheel of time.
