The hadiths were by Arabs who lived in Arabia and never saw a land where the sun never sets. They standardized the hadith according to their world. That's the only world that they knew and thought Allah was God only for the Arabian desert. In those days only the Chinese travelled the furthest of humanity and not sure why Muslims didn't gain access to Chinese materials. They already took/borrowed a lot from the Chinese such as the campus, clock, paper, ink, basic maths, architecture...but much of these things were borrowed later years.

[

It's not about what the people of the 7th century knew. It's about what Allah knew, since Allah is the Creator and Allah is the one who brought us the Deen.

Because 99% of humans DO NOT LIVE IN THE ARCTIC.

.
your wrong my friend.. actually more humans where living in artic countries in 7th century than Arabia my friend... people where living northern sweden. northern finland and norway and northern Russia. and Iceland and northern ALASKA about 10 000 years...

Who mentioned the hadiths? The Quran proscribed fasting to all Muslims, and this has nothing to do with the hadiths whatsoever.

You only decided to bring up hadiths because of your extreme lack of knowledge pertaining to islamic affairs

Notice how neither DR-YALAXOOW nor WaaliCas could come up with any legal reasoning behind their arguments.

Nothing at all.

The Muslims who live in Norway can easily adjust their fasting to resemble the fasting schedule of the Muslims in London and France. But these two trolls want to insist otherwise.

I have nothing more to add to this conversation

The early Muslims only knew the world and time of Arabia and used the sun to track the day. The world is much bigger today and it's up to modern Muslims to come up with solution(s) that reflect the modern big world not 6th century Arabia.
If Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not tell us and you can't quote a verse in the Quran or a hadith, we're sticking with the rules set by Islam.

Check this hadith:

“Allah has shown me the east and the west and the authority of my Ummah shall reach to whatever was shown to me of it.” [Muslim No.2889, and others Abu Dawud]

Since Allah has shown Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) every corner on earth, do you think North Pole was not shown to him? Basics guys, basics. If the Prophet (pbbuh) did not tell us to estimate hours, we're not going to accept new heretic innovations that people are coming up now.

'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When the night approaches and the day retreats and the sun sinks down, then the observer of the fast should break it. Ibn Numair made no mention of the word" then". [Muslim No.2421]

If you obeyed most of those on earth, they would lead you away from the path of Allah. They follow nothing but speculation – they are only guessing. ” (Qur’an 6:115-116)

You don't even know what you said or talking about. We are not talking about Ramadan. Ramadan is wajib. All Muslims must preserve Ramadan.

What we are talking about is TIME. Ma garataay? And so far the Wahabi kids like yourself got owned because your radical Sheikhs didn't give you enough suicide belts for these kind of discussions.

The Arabia time of 6th century is very irrelevant in the modern world where certain places see no sun at all and others see no night. The good old rule of; fast from sun rise to sunset doesn't apply.

Then what kiddo? Do you think there are no Muslims in those places?

1. I am not a Wahhabi. I've said that on a number of occasions on this forum.

2. I've already answered your question several times on this thread. Don't blame me for your lack of reading comprehension. For me to answer it again would be akin to me repeating myself.

Islamic Law is based on 4 main sources:

1. Quran
2. Sunnah
3. Scholarly consensus
4. Qiyaas (legal reasoning)

The issue of fasting in Norway/Sweden comes under the 4th category (Qiyaas), in which someone who's knowledgeable on Islamic Law would come up with legal reasoning to reflect unique circumstances.

Just because WaaliCas and DR-YALAXOOW are too ignorant on Islamic Law to know this, doesn't take away from this.

It's their fault for being ignorant.
