I don't generally like heavy foods during suhoor, so I stick with a large salad (4 cups of vegetables) with (chicken, salmon or beef). I drink plenty of water beforehand. I wouldn't consider this very filling for most, but it doesn't prevent me from sleeping and I don't normally feel hungry during the day. Perhaps I've just adapted to these conditions.I've been eating barley for suhoor since Ramadan began, it leaves me sluggish and sleepy during the day.
Do you guys eat healthy suhoor? Can you share? No baasto, suugo, bariis, soor please and thank you.
I want a healthy, filling suhoor that can give me energy through out the day!

Julz, what about fruit? So many fruit are in season right now, have you tried that? So filled with sugars and water (watermelon, cantelope, mango etc)
