Masha Allah. It's a lovely house. Ilahay haw barakeeyo. In Somalia it's a mansion but in the Horn it's a normal house.

First and foremost, I am not putting this house down nor the man who worked hard for it but I'm simply telling you outside Somalia, this house is an average house. You should discover the region.

Of course all over our regions we all have indigenous homes and personally speaking I am proud of them all. Those lovely rural homes in Ethiopia are fantastic heritage however you well know Ethiopia blows Somalia away in every field and homes are no different.

Hiring foreign co-workers is depriving poor Somali families from earning a livelihood. I hope this is not a trend that becomes a norm, and if it does, we need both SFG and PL to issue regulations that protect the local workforce.
