Trafford centre - UK's second biggest shopping centre
Wheel of Manchester
Wilmslow road - Somali/Arab central
Urbis Museum
Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens
Peak district
Liverpool - only 45 mins away
And while you're in Liverpool go to Anfield Park

Peak district[open countryside, quaint villages, stately homes]

There's lots to see around that area. This is a useful website http://www.visitmanchester.com

Why Manchester?

check out York and Harrogate, the former has a lot of culture while the latter has the cutest cafes and tea rooms.

Since you want to check Ireland out go through Liverpool and get the ferry across, might as well check Edinburgh out if you're going all the way to Eire.

Thanks you so much guys. I picked Manchester coz i have my sister there ans also coz i really dont like London that much. I have a little less than 3 weeks there.I wanna explore as much as i can.

I was planning attending one football match while there.

I really like the fact places are so close to each other there unlike here in Canada.

Manchester looks like Bristol, which looks like Swindon, which looks like Reading etc etc etc. Outside of London, there isn't much to see in the UK.

I don't know Manchester that much but there is this somali area you should avoid. The name of that area eludes me at the moment but I was there a few years back and it was dangerous. The city centre is beautiful (and ranked as the second innovative city in the Uk after London); there are several museums. Manchester/Liverpool have a lot of history.

As Ismail wrote, you should visit Liverpool ; the slave museum, the Beatles history and of course Liverpool club are worth visiting.

If you are planing to visit London, I can provide you with a Lamagoodle's guide .
