Hell yeah. It's the only tv show I watch apart from Game of thrones. This season has been alright, but the first season is one of the best tv seasons ever.

I found true second season TD---to be disgusting. It is not authentic as the first season. Pizzolatto--the writer is a talented man, but I am afraid after the success of the first season---it went to his head. Also, the feminist critics complained how he was a woman hater. (actually--in a mild way--he is--definitely a gay ninny in denial) In the second season, he was pleasing the women. He killed off all male characters and left the two leading females to survive. Really weird. The entire season feel and back round music sounded melancholic and sad. Pizzo is a very sad man. In the entire season--there reeks a weak man not able to fulful his manliness. A male character having problem impregnating his woman. A cop rejecting his homosexuality, uses Viagra to get an erection, that is how hard he is trying. Another male cop is really not into his hot female cop partner-- but he is supposedly "really" maternal--and cries over a step son--the son of his ex--who was raped by the way. (in the end--stupidly, it is revealed it is his child--after all---pretty pathetic)

If you ask me- (but u r not asking--r u?)- I hated this season.

Basra Butuucey, you are right the first season was better but the Second season had a different tone, writing and characters. I think the second season was going for old-fashioned Noir hard-boiled cop thriller, so it's meant to be bleak, cold and depressing. While the first season was more of a creepy psychological thriller. I didn't like the characters in this season at first but they grew on me, especially the gangster Frank and his ride-or-die girlfriend. I can't wait for the next season.

Bro, I stuck through with it. It's not even like "oh, nothing can compare to the first season" this season was utter trash. That chick playing the same song every damn episode in the bar? I wanted to reach through my computer screen and strangle her.

The ending was soooooooo bad, like terrible. The last scene (before the credits) had me like:

lol yeah that chick was really annoying ,at first it was ok but then they kept bringing her back every damn episode

I watched the first 3 episodes and I really thought I was watching a different show , and to honest it was really a different show they should have changed the damn name

The first seasons is probably top 3 shows of all time IMO. Season season is huge let down, they should have named it something else.
