Lol India maybe a shithole with strange priorities but don't compare them to us. They will be a super-power in the next few decades. In every major scientific and engineering field they have the best of the best. Most of the startups in Silicon valley is by them. They have so many prize winning physicists, chemists, engineers, mathmeticians, poets, writers etc etc. They are one of the oldest civilisations on earth and have contributed so much to the cultural and scientific progress of mankind unlike us. As well as being the homeland of 3 Major world religions. I don't particularly like reer timojilic but some of you guys are either staggeringly ignorant, facetious or just batshit insane if you are even comparing Somalia to India.

Everyone knows that India is a rich country.................Salman Khan of Bollywood fame has more in his bank account than the entire Somali economy generates a year right now. Why is everyone shooting Somalia down? I smell failures...even in the tone of the posts.

Indians aren't clever on average, it's just that there are so many of them. 1% of India is already 12.5 million and most of these elites flee the country (can be found in Silicon Valley, Singapore etc).
The ones you see in Silicon Valley are in no way similar to most Indians.

Whether tbey are clever or not is beside the point. My point is they are exceptionally educated, hard-working and ambitious. I live in the UK, they fill every senior management role for every business and government position. Almost every doctor or surgeon i have ever known is either indian or paki/bengali. Not to mention their contributions to world culture as well as scientific progress cannot be understated.
I'm not putting them on a pedalstool, in fact they are my least favourite people. They are servile and work slavish hours. But one thing you or I cannot deny is they are exceptionally successful.

Overseas Indians are a self-selected unrepresentative sub-population.
Go to India and you will stop praising Indians instantly. They have one of the worst living standards in all of Asia.

I agree with Itrah on this, the Indians you see are the top 1% who were smart enough to escape that cesspool and come to the west.
So yea, naturally they'd be smarter than the average person. Here in the US, the Indians even outperform the Cadaans when it comes to education/income.
Its always an Indian kid who wins the National Spelling Bee.

Exactly, they aren't as smart as everyone makes them out to be. The average Indian has an IQ of 80 and could never compete with the average East Asian, but because only the brightest & richest can immigrate and they have the second largest populace in the world they obviously produce a large amount of exceptions to the rule. This is also the reason why Nigerians and Egyptians are the most educated group in the U.S.

No they use the solids (feaces) as fertiliser and they empty the cleaned liquid (water) back into rivers
