The hardest phase I went through in life is when I realized that Rose could have saved jack. There was enough room for the both of them but she had to be selfish. Jack could have been alive.

The hardest phase I went through would probably have to be the phase where I was trying to figure out who I was and where I was going in life. 17-19, hanging around with people who do things you'd never dream of doing, swearing you'd never do what they do and then becoming exactly what they were.

Not listening to anyones advice and having to learn the hard way.

I had to survive walaashay. life was too hard. No job. no home no welfare no body is sending you money and the qaraabo shaxaad was too little to cover my needs. at this stage robbery stealing selling illegal goods and prostitution is the top alternatives to survive for short time internationally. unfortunately I could not be a goldigger because I was not a beautiful young lady. and I had no the physical power to rob people directly. So I have to steal cleverly perhaps that's the reason I was never caught. phuk it ! that was the past I am glad I am fine today.

My worst experience in life happened to me back in '12 when I arrived at Burco for a 'holiday', it wasn't as I first anticipated it would be. The first night was terrible. Mosquitoes made sleep almost impossible and the jet lag didn't help either. It happened that I desperately needed the toilet so I stumbled out of my bed and left the bedroom, I never knew which door led to the toilet as I walked around half-asleep. I almost nearly entered the room where my aunties where sleeping but made a quick retreat, narrowly avoiding a scandal (if they were awake).

What made my experience worse, was the fact there were mice and cockroaches running around the hallway. Finally, I located and found the toilet but to my dismay it seemed locked. The urgent situation called for desperate action so I kicked the door and it flew open. It wasn't locked, it just so happens that Somalis literally nail the door on to the wall when constructing houses. The toilet was a hole in the ground and there were even more creepy crawlies wandering around in there
