Why is it whenever I drink coffee or tea I still feel sleepy? Smh I envy people who can stay awake with a bit of caffeine. The only thing that can keep me up is an energy drink, but when you have an energy drink, after a while you feel like death.

There are people who metabolize caffeine very fast and it leaves their system very fast. For others, it works well and for a very long time. It appears you metabolize it quickly.
I only drink one espresso cup in the morning and it works almost the entire day.

Caffeine doesn't do much for me either. It's all just a placebo effect.

I think it's more than a placebo effect because energy drinks actually work and they have tons of caffeine in them.

Taurine in energy drinks doesn't come from animals any more. All of it is now synthesised chemically.
