i say well done ethiopia, such an inspiration to us all and you make us proud. This is spear head development and allow ethiopian economy and technological as well as the communication sectors to hugely expand and this will alleviate poverty

Comparing the poverty rate by regions, Somali region has the highest poverty rate at 93% followed by Oromiya (91.2%) and Afar (90.9%). $3 million isn't much, but use it for more important things.

How will this alleviate the poverty. It's a good move that I commend, but if living standards increase, the Ethiopian economy/intellect will grow at a faster rate.

3 Million is nothing though, that I agree with and the Westerners just want to defame African countries. Although the government has to prioritize and put it's people first.

Its just a small telescope for help with weather and agricultural (since planting requires rain). They ain't no where close to sending rockets.

But good on them. Hopefully we can use it to better out agriculture.
