Check out booking.com. If you are here on holiday I wouldn't recommend staying in a Somali hotel.

Depends on the nature of your trip huuno. If you are on holiday you want to have a comfortable stay ..most Somali hotels are in or around the Gold Souk. If you're in transit or are in Dubai to shop for the latest diracs/dahab then a Somali hotel will do just fine. But if you are in Dubai for some R&R then you might look elsewhere.

If you book in advance you can get some good deals. Sofitel Dubai is a nice hotel for those on holiday.

How long do you plan on staying in Dubai?

Check out booking.com huuno you know your budget better than I do. But if you book in advance you're better off finding a place that's worth your money.

Al jazeera and other plalces aren't booze and ladies friendly. I wouldn't stay in any somali joint if looking for some r&r action. Plenty of hotels in bur dubai(dubai's speudo red light district at night) or sheikh zayid if you can afford a budget of $300-500. I can recommend few if you are keen on sheikh zayed hotels and good eateries and crowd places with live bands.

If you are very budget tight, try airbnb for deira area and wish you all the best. Mind you airbnb may not be for maryooley who are xenophobic ama shaki dad ajnabi ladaganaan.

Why spend 50$ on a disgusting Somali owned hotel in old disgusting Deira when you can on a budget rentets say a Novotel right on sheikh Zayed road across the metro, two stops from Dubai Mall inclusive of breakfast for just 70$ . What I have noticed is all Somali who have come to the west after the War still carry that cheap maryoolaye mentality
