Lol at all these misinformations!

Firstly he did not fought with the italians, he was raiding on the new habasha settlements and menelik forces so since he comes from a hereditary political family, he accepted to take weapons from the italians who were based at jowhar

So the italians have recognized him as the sultan of shabelle bc the ajuran were based on this area (ajuran had two dynasties; the coastal muzafar dynasty who was based on mogadishu and this hinterland shabelle dynasty from qalafe/buur cukur to afgoye-

in a later stage, the italians have offered sayidka the same status at taleex as the mahdi of nugaal

This is defferent than being maxmiyad, its kinda alliance

But sayidka had no political background so he saw all of them as gaalo

Darvish were a religion-driven national movement but with no political agenda

instead of concentrating on the north-britain- and the habasha they waged war on the resistance in shabelle and have caused the intervention of the italians

We had a southren front at jowhar led by sh hassan barsane and a northern front against the habasha

This was 1910s

Darawish invasion of beledweyne has waekened this front as we lost mustahil for the habasha

beledweyne would have been part of ethiopia but it was saved by italy

We had a local resistance in beledweyne against italy too but speaking politically, us and italy had a common ethiopian enemy and since italy was recognizing us as a state there was no need for darvish invasion in shabelle

Darvish documents indicate that it was bc of the italians arriving at buq caqable but they were heading to bakool and gedo as far as dolow not beledweyne

In beledweyne we had our own military leaders like mumin fodeey, caqiid ibrahim diinle seedow who were alligned with the sultan

I didnt heard of this guy but I know kamal hassan olol diinle.. maybe you think they r from jl bc of their bah gari grandmother

The sultan was making political marriages to win over the clans against menelik and this time bah gari were spreading towards shabelle

Some misinformations in this link likecthe dates also kaynadid forces and dervish clashed at mudug but the war happened at the same in two directions....some forces arrived from qalafe

Hiiraan front was led by caqiid-col-ibrahim sedow...I have got his pic

The italians arrived after

Dervish have been defeated for fighting in many fronts

They held beledweyne for two years
