I love the self pillow stories u tell yourself! Your denial trip is so long--u don't know your departure or arrival times!I mean, u cant just casually say u r not anti west and then call yourself 'western'!!! (when u support ISIS and Russians)
But if the Chinese didn't come to Africa, then our continent would be much worse off as a result.What do you guys think of China's involvement in Africa, good or bad?
I am still sitting on the sidelines, on the one hand, they build your infrastructure and don't get involved in national/local politics.
On the other hand, they hire and bring over mainly Chinese workers. This doesn't help the locals and the country.

best option is second one because you genuinely are getting a physical thing for your resources. They need to bring Chinese workers because the locals dont have the expertise, quality and work ethic to get mega projects done .There are three ways African countries can negotiate/trade;
1) Westerncentric - The Western countries call the shots. They collude with one another in a neo-colonial scramble for Africa. They make you sign treaties and enforce neo-liberal policies that are detrimental to you country's economic prospects but wholly advantageous to themselves and their multinational corporations. E.g. lower taxation of foreign businesses, less red-tape and regulation of foreign "investment" and reduction of local competition by not protecting local businesses from foreign competition etc.
They will form a cartel around you primary sector by either setting up fake domestic companies filled with foreign CEOs e.g. SOMA-OIL. or they will offer you crappy deals while they get fat and your people starve, despite the country possessing trillions of dollars of natural resources e.g. Congo/Zaire/Zambia/Nigeria/Ivory Coast.
2) Sinocentric - Chinese corporations will come to your country and offer you hard cash or pay for infrastructure building projects e.g. highways, railways, dams etc. in exchange for your resources. The problem is, a lot of the times, they only bring Chinese workers and do not train the local population in the skills required for these infrastructure projects. 9/10 they bring in the workers, compete the project, then all the workers go back home. They also have a poor reputation for shoddy work which could lead to poorly built infrastructure which is costly and dangerous.
3) Afrocentric- Mostly avoid Western countries and their mafia organisations like IMF/WB/UN if you can and Deal with nations like China, Russia, Brazil etc. but getting deals that are more advantageous to Africans e.g. get them to train African workers and hire a certain percentage of workers must be African (say 80%). Get them to offer expertise in areas African countries are falling behind e.g. energy, defence, technology, schooling etc. Reduce the level of money coming in from foreign investment and have policies that favour domestic companies more than foreign ones.
