Mahadsanid Bella :rose:.

Inayah

You will probably be too stressed whilst others enjoy or criticise the event at your expense.

Furthermore, if it is a mixed wedding, it could result in people with loose morals hooking up with each to make the beast with three backs.

Simple wedding and a long honeymoon in a far away tropical island (Maldives) that serves Xalal food is more my cup of tea.

The Caribbean or the Pacific (Tahiti) would be ideal too but Xalal food is a deal breaker. I mean part of the allure of a holiday is binge eating and that cannot happen in many non-Muslim holiday destinations.
Perhaps somewhere like Bali, drinking a pomegranate mojito mocktail. Hmm sounds ideal.

If you don't see what is wrong, then I can't help you.
What about the white dress that most Somali girls where? That has nothing to do with our culture but Somalis seem to think it's OK to wear it. :?

I personally don't live for other people and their opinions so I'd wear what I want to wear.
I don't condone the white wedding dress either but clearly that's a case of apples and oranges. The white wedding dress is worn by everyone on the planet. 99% weddings have a bride and groom in western clothing ulike suits and dresses. That's true from America to Jordan to China. Lakiin nobody outside of south asia wears a sari to a wedding. It's as retarded as a somali wearing a kimono as a wedding dress.

It's good that you care little about other people's opinions, that doesn't make a Somali woman wearing a sari on her wedding day any less cringeworthy or retarded..
OK well you tell your wife to be what to wear on her wedding day, oh and what to eat day in day out oh AND when to breath aswell you control freak. Aniga ima talisid and I don't care for your opinion.

If you don't care for my opinion, don't address me.

I've seen your posts before and you come across as a racist, psychopath with control issues.

You said a Somali woman wearing a saari on her wedding day is retarded and cringeworthy, so that clearly indicates if your future wife (If you ever find one) wanted to wear a saari on her big day, you'd say no waxaas iyo waxaas aya xidhanaysa. Waad u talini laheed like the badh nagood you are.

Can you talk without insulting someone? I didn't insult you so learn some manners please.

As for what my wife wears, it is no concern of yours. If you have no counter argument or intelligent point, it's best to keep quiet. Ad hominems only shows your lack of manners and bad upbringing.

Who get's this emotional over a sari?

Seems like your just fitting in with what's deemed popular. Why should the white dress be more acceptable to a Somali woman than a Sari?

I didn't say it should. I would prefer if Somalis didn't steal other people's cultual dresses and just wore their own laba go'/shaal/guntino/dirac etc. However, that doesn't take away from my original point that a sari is more decidely foreign than a white wedding dress which has become almost synonymous with weddings all over the world.

You talk as if you're full of this exceptional enlightenment.

Well let me tell you a thing or two, you are full of shit.

Utter, pure shit.

A CAPABLE being would recognize that Islam leaves no room for discrimination against any ethnic group. (Forget this thread, there are millions of threads where you've shown pure hatred against Arabs, Asians and AAs)

Who cares about your preference? Did I not personally tell you I don't care for your opinion? :?

And don't ever think you can talk down to me, 'cause best believe I will check you.

Liquidhydrogen reminds me of a south korean who hates china or a Japanese who hate south korean, Arabs are our neighbours and it is not shocking for Somalis to like listening to Arab music or watch Indian movies.

While you may hate it, don't hate the people who like it ! I don't believe they suffer from deep inferiority complex, why do you care what these naago do anyway ? to me they remind me of white women dancing to African Jungle music.

shit ain't that serious.
