It's easy to criticise from your own comfort home drinking a Pepsi.

each generation is carried forward and guided by the previous generation.

This generation and the previous one,
for many there is no future prospect for them to earn a living wage and no real government to fill the gaps the future indeed looks bleak for many.

I myself would have taken that chance I believe if I was in their position.

No one is critising those soldiers who left for yemen they want to make money to support families thats completely normal . Its the govt actions. Why cant the govt offer these ppl the jobs amisom is doing. Remember those left for yemen are recieving exact salary as those of amisom. It doesnt make sense.

Hodon

I believe this corrupt government has given
opportunity to those young men, after all Hassan a secured funds to support his own political or private agenda in return to send soldiers to Yemen.

The amisom are paid by UN, so asking the UN
To pay your soldiers is another thing.

The whole government dependence on AID and the aid money is misused and mismanaged
By corrupt so called goverment officials.

The salary for the army $7m per month this does not include the expenses.

And the goverment gets $10million income from the port and the airport I believe per month according to the finance minister.

There is no money laying around and no will to fix the economy and the country by the goverment officials.

The attitude by the majority of Somali so called goverment officials is .....every man for himself and his family

This can't be true...it has to be one of those internet hoax..like when they said Will Smith died. How can you send Somali troops to protect foreign land when foreigners are still protecting your own land. How can you send troops to foreign land when your own land is being occupied by a secessionist governments in north (Somaliland) and in the south (Jubaland)Nah this is pure comedy I ain't falling for this
So SL belongs to Moqadisho
GTFO here and go free KM5 from Amisom
Sxb I don't suffer from Delusional Disorder I'm in no position to free anyone  Now according to the government sitting in Xamar SL is part of greater Somalia. So you would think their priority would be to free the occupied lands in the North and South or even secure Xamar before venturing into foreign territory.
