I am sure Somalia can qualify to World Cup and African Cup of Nations, only if they pick players from all over the country. There are plenty talented players from every region.

They have some kind of head hunters everywhere in Somalia now. Somali soccer management are respected everywhere. They were in Garoowe few months ago for a head hunt. They still cannot go to hargaisa but players come to muqdisho when they are called. we have 2 well known somaliland players in the national team but they cannot go back. They player for banadir stars and minishibio

Why are people sitting on plastic chairs? Aren't they least bit worried of sliding down from the stands.

Clearly some of these players do not look Somali. Are you sure the team is not comprised of few AMISOM soldiers who took their uniforms off?

Sxb The best Somali national Players have always hailed from the Somali Bantu of Jubooyinka and Shabellooyinka. Do you remember Cambar Murudi, Sharkey, Coonka, Aw malaay. Those were the cream of the nation.

yes the best Somali national players was always beesha Jareer weyne somaliyeed.. ibraahim shaash.( the greatest somali national captian all time.. Muxiyadiin canbar khamiis.. Nuur shaarkeey AUN( hes son playes current national team) Goolhaye xasan goorge. Jeylaani khaliif and many others.. those brothers you see in the picture all of them are Soomaali..(no matter which tribe they are from)

They used to train in Djibouti but that was before they renovated Koonis Stadium.
