I disagree with this aspect of your post. Looks matter and is definitely a big bonus to have, but its true that its only one component that determines attraction. I personally couldn't careless what you think. But I will say if I do come across as an ass, I wasn't always this way. Once upon a time I used to be a timid pushover who people would take advantage of, especially women. I still like to think I'm a nice person by nature, but if not going out my way to help people anymore or throwing people's bullshit right back in their faces when the time calls for it makes me an ass, then I proudly wear that label. The truth is, to survive in the real world you have to at some level be an ass.
