Then it became apparent that black african were a tiny minority of those who died and Iranian made up about 50% of the death.

Iran is just politicizing a tragedy that killed hundreds of people, because its locked in regional competition with its Arab neighbors.
I normally have respect for Iranians, but lately they have been getting butting heads with its neighbors.
