Many tribes of Somaliland and Puntland also live in the northern part of the Ogaden.

Historically Somalis from SL, DJ and DDSI are close to eachother then they are to other somalis. They are culturally close because they share common history like Ifat and Adal empires, common dialect, they intermarry(ied) and the tribes lives with and next to eachother. As for the Somali kenyans They're/were isolated from their cousins/brothers and got influenced by other tribes in the south so they're now culturally and historically close to Somalis from Somalia.

My dad was born in Ethiopië.my friend is from kenya and they are very alike.

I think it's because Somalis subconsciously still consider the Ogaden region as Somali land ( which it is of course) where as we don't consider NFD to belong to Somalis..and its also because most Somalis from the NFD region would easily say that there Kenyan rather than that they are Somali..
I've met tons of somali Kenyans who barely what's to be associated with Somalia
